Anchin Names Three New Partners

NEW YORK, NY – Anchin, Block & Anchin LLP is pleased to announce the addition of three new partners -- Matthew Mullaney, CPA; Terry Pissi, CPA; and Craig Silberberg, CPA -- as of October 1, 2009. With these promotions, Anchin has a roster of 53 partners who provide creative, pro-active advisory services to clients representing all of the major industries represented in the Tri-state area.
Matthew Mullaney joins Anchin as a tax partner at Anchin with 20 years of experience serving privately-held and public companies in a variety of industries, including wholesale and retail distribution, financial services, publishing, and manufacturing.
He has advised clients on a wide range of tax issues, including compliance, planning, controversy work, tax provisions, mergers and acquisitions, and due diligence. In addition, Matthew has significant experience advising, reviewing, and preparing tax provisions under FAS 109 for financial statements as well as advising, implementing, and disclosing companies’ uncertain tax positions as required under FIN 48.
Prior to joining Anchin, Matthew was a partner with the New York office of a national firm. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). He and his family reside in Old Tappan, NJ.
Terry Pissi, an accounting and audit partner with over 25 years of experience at Anchin, advises clients in a range of industries including manufacturing and distribution, construction and real estate.
She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), a member of Professional Women in Construction (PWC), and The Women’s Financial Group. Terry has spent her entire professional career at Anchin, having joined the firm as an intern during her college years. Terry and her family live in Wantagh, New York.
Craig Silberberg joins Anchin as an accounting and audit partner with almost 20 years of experience servicing privately-held and public companies in the financial services industry, including investment partnerships, broker dealers and investment advisors. His clients have ranged from start-ups to multi-billion dollar funds with a wide variety of trading strategies.
Prior to joining Anchin, Craig was with the New York office of an international accounting firm. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). The Silberberg family resides in Robbinsville, NJ.
