His clients includes well-known venture capital, private equity, media and business executives as well as investors, entertainers and those who inherit significant wealth.
Jeffrey is frequently involved with nuanced matters pertaining to domicile and residency, fiduciary income tax, concentrated equity positions, employee stock options and restricted stock. Many of his clients have complex foreign investment reporting requirements. In conjunction with attorneys and financial advisors, he coordinates execution and tax compliance for sophisticated gift and estate tax planning techniques.
An expert in the field of domestic and international philanthropy, Jeffrey works extensively with individuals and family offices to develop and implement numerous charitable-giving strategies. He has been instrumental in advising clients who establish, fund and administer private operating and non-operating foundations, charitable lead and remainder trusts. He also offers invaluable assistance to those with donor-advised funds.
Jeffrey is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and its Financial Planning Section. He holds the Personal Financial Specialist designation from the AICPA. He is a member of Council on Foundations, Philanthropic Advisors Network and is fluent in Russian.
