His clients include well-known businesses, media and technology company executives, entrepreneurs, investors and entertainers. On many occasions, Jeffrey’s clients have sought his guidance on personal tax planning matters related to luxury items such as yachts, aircraft, automobiles, and artwork.
Jeffrey is frequently involved with federal and state income tax issues pertaining to domicile and residency, concentrated equity positions, employee stock options, and restricted stock. Many of his clients have complex domestic and international investment reporting requirements. In conjunction with attorneys and financial advisors, he coordinates implementation and execution of various gift and estate tax planning techniques.
An expert in the field of philanthropy, Jeffrey works extensively with individuals and family offices to develop and implement sophisticated charitable-giving strategies. He also provides invaluable assistance to clients in establishing, funding and administering private operating and non-operating foundations, charitable leads and remainder trusts as well as donor-advised funds.
Jeffrey is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and its Financial Planning Section. He holds the Personal Financial Specialist designation from the AICPA. He is a member of Council on Foundations, Philanthropic Advisors Network and is fluent in Russian.
