Thomas F. Giordano
Thomas Giordano, a director in Anchin’s Litigation, Forensic & Valuation Services Group, is responsible for performing and managing valuation projects, including litigation support engagements.
Tom has particular expertise in valuing securities of privately held and publicly owned companies, commercial transactions and intangible property. He has been responsible for valuations performed for litigations, arbitrations, financial statements, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, and gift, estate and income taxes. He has served a broad spectrum of clients, including companies in the manufacturing, technology, banking, financial services, hospitality and service industries. Tom also has been qualified on numerous occasions to render expert testimony in more than 30 cases in Federal and State Courts and NYSE, NASD and American Arbitration Association panels. He has testified and consulted on valuation issues in shareholder disputes, lost profit and value, business appraisals, securities fraud class actions and broker-dealer raiding cases.
Tom brings his clients more than 20 years of experience in business valuation, gained at regional and national accounting firms and, most recently, at Empire Valuation Consultants as a Managing Director. Prior to joining those appraisal and accounting firms, he worked at a major chemical company holding positions in corporate planning and development including mergers and acquisitions, engineering and environmental control.
