Meet Ryan Paquin

Ryan Paquin is a Director and Leader of Anchin’s Cost Segregation Group, with over 10 years of valuation and fixed asset experience. Ryan specializes in performing cost segregation analyses of depreciable property under the U.S. Federal Tax Code for both constructed and acquired properties in a variety of industries. His experience extends to 481(a) adjustment calculations and associated net present value estimates, capitalize vs. expense studies, retroactive fixed asset ledger adjustments and unit of property asset management. In addition, he regularly assists clients with maintaining fixed asset accounting methods to favorably conform to the most recent federal tangible property regulations.

Ryan also has experience providing machinery & equipment valuations for a range of applications within domestic and international markets. He was previously with a global professional services firm where he led the cost segregation program while also performing tangible property valuations for both tax and financial reporting purposes, such as ASC 805, IRC Sec 1060, 338(h)(10), FIRPTA testing, management planning, and property tax assessments. He has worked with both domestic and internal clients across various industries including manufacturing, healthcare, media and telecom, retail, construction, and food & beverage.

Additionally, Ryan was recently named one of 2024’s Next Generation Leaders by Connect CRE and an Industry Leader to Watch by New York Real Estate Journal.

Ryan is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) with the American Society of Appraisers and a member of the American Society of Cost Segregation Professionals.
