An entrepreneurial and transformative leader with more than three decades of experience, Shinsky has been instrumental in the strategic expansion of Anchin’s practice areas and its geographic footprint. The firm, which has offices in Manhattan, opened a Uniondale office in February 2021, followed by a third office, in Boca Raton, Fla., in July 2022. Under his leadership, Anchin has elevated its standing and continued its many years of recognition as an employee-centered organization fostering the professional advancement, personal fulfillment and well-being of its employees. That culture has contributed to the firm’s multiple consecutive placements on the prestigious Crain’s New York Business Best Places to Work list, as well as the New York State Society for Human Resource Management’s 2023 list of the Best Companies to Work For in New York. The latter award marks the 16th consecutive year that Anchin has received this distinction since the inception of the program. Shinsky has deep knowledge and extensive experience across various industries, including law firms, architecture and engineering, construction, compensation and benefits, manufacturing and distribution. He provides sound advice to clients that extends beyond their accounting and tax needs to encompass areas such as succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic alliances.
Shinsky has been a speaker and panelist at prominent professional and industry conferences over the years. Well-respected by his peers, he is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
