Anchin Expands its Accounting, Tax and Advisory Practice into Florida
New office in Boca Raton is first in a new region in firm’s 100-year history
Anchin announced today the establishment of a new office in Florida. The Boca Raton location is the first outside of New York State in the firm’s century-long history and will bring Anchin’s exceptional track record of providing financial reporting, tax and advisory guidance to high-net-worth individuals and families, investment funds and privately held businesses in the Southeast region.
The expansion comes following Anchin’s careful consideration of additional market opportunities around the U.S. The Sunshine State was selected for the firm’s first office outside of New York State in part because of Anchin’s existing understanding of the Florida market based on the relationships already in place there.
“The expansion into Florida has long been part of our future growth considerations,” says Kathleen Braica, CPA, who leads the team of experienced professionals in the Florida office. “We have a well-established and extensive network of Florida-based tax, legal and investment professionals so we can seamlessly and effectively provide the high caliber services our clients have come to know and expect in the Florida market. Our experience with Florida and Federal income tax laws, as well as the knowledge gained by serving our many Florida-based businesses and high-net-worth families, means that we understand the specific needs of families and businesses living and working in Florida.
Braica, who lives in Florida and has advised clients there for more than 20 years, is a partner in Anchin’s Private Client Group and leads the Boca team. She has extensive tax-planning and compliance experience with specialized expertise in the complexities unique to high-net-worth individuals and family offices. She and the Boca-based team will propel Anchin’s expertise into a market with a well-established and growing high-net-worth population.
“We work to thoroughly understand unique needs and deliver personalized service to meet them,” Braica says. “We know how to address client needs of all kinds because we have helped so many high-net-worth families with similar needs over the years. Our clients often tell us it seems we are part of their family, and we take that responsibility and that trust seriously.”
Over the next year, Anchin’s Florida office will continue to grow to add additional professionals and expanded capabilities, serving existing clients and developing new relationships with high-net-worth families, investment funds and businesses in the region.
