Anchin, a premiere New York based full-service tax, accounting and advisory firm, is pleased to announce that seven of our Partners have been honored with inclusion in Crain’s Notable 2022 Leaders in Accounting and Consulting list. The Partners are Tara Burek, Jared Feldman, David Horton, Megan Klingbeil, Brent Lessey, Chris Noble, and Greg Wank. These individuals hold various leadership roles at Anchin, including within the Consumer Products, Financial Services, Private Client, Professional Services and Technology industry teams, as well as within their own communities. Anchin’s selection of recognized leaders represents a remarkable proportion of the 64 Crain’s honorees.

This year’s honorees are working diligently to help clients overcome business challenges while also leading their firms into the future by attracting and retaining new talent and making their organizations more diverse, equitable and inclusive. The honorees contribute to their communities, including contributing to cultural, educational, and philanthropic activities that improve life for all in the New York City metro area.

Here is some information about Anchin’s honorees:

Tara Burek, CPA, is a Tax Partner at Anchin as well as a member of the Firm’s Private Client Group. Tara has more than 15 years of experience in providing tax consulting and compliance services for high-net-worth individuals and families as well as corporations, partnerships, and LLCs.

Jared Feldman, CPA, is a Partner and the Practice Leader of the Firm’s Private Client Group. He specializes in providing a wide array of accounting, tax and advisory services for family offices, financial service executives, real estate developers, entertainment professionals, busy owners of privately held companies and wealthy individuals and families. He focuses on the accounting, tax, and business issues his clients face, including the ever-changing tax and regulatory landscape, estate planning, philanthropic and next generation planning, and business consulting.

David Horton, CPA, CGMA, is a Partner at Anchin, and has more than 20 years of experience in accounting and auditing. He is a member of the Firm’s Private Equity Group and Financial Services Practice. He is also a key member of the Emerging Manager Platform team, which helps managers of start-up funds. David also specializes in assisting established funds with structuring, compliance, and other advisory services. He provides audit and advisory services for a variety of investment company structures, including mutual funds, domestic and offshore funds, master-feeder structures, private equity, venture capital, general partnerships, and management companies.

Megan Klingbeil, CPA, is an Accounting and Audit Partner at Anchin with more than 20 years of experience. Megan is a member of the Firm’s Food and Beverage Group, and Co-Leader of the Beauty, Health and Wellness Group, providing accounting, business, and tax planning services for privately held companies including supermarkets, distributors, manufacturers, and emerging brands. Her clients range from aggressively developing businesses to well-established companies. Megan’s experience extends to assisting clients with mergers and acquisitions, tax strategies and securing financing/funding.

Brent Lessey, CPA, MST, is a Tax Partner in Anchin’s Consumer Products Group. He has over 10 years of experience providing business and tax planning services to privately held companies and investors. His clientele includes many emerging brands, manufacturers, distributors and retailers in the consumer products space. Brent is a member of the Firm’s Transaction Advisory Services practice and is part of Anchin’s Economic Opportunity Zones Group. He is a key member of Anchin’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and is a leader of Anchin’s efforts to support and build up MWBEs.

Chris Noble, CPA, CGMA, is an Accounting and Advisory Partner at Anchin, with more than 20 years of experience. Chris is the Leader of the Technology Group, and Professional Services Group which includes Law Firms, Public Relations, Advertising & Media, IT Service companies and other consulting businesses. As the Leader of the Technology Group, Chris provides accounting, business, and tax planning services to entrepreneurial, venture capital and private equity-backed businesses ranging from start-ups to growing and established technology companies.

Greg Wank, CPA, CGMA, is an Accounting and Advisory partner at Anchin and a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee. Greg is the Leader of the Firm’s Food and Beverage and Branded CPG Practices, providing accounting, business, and tax planning services to privately held companies and investors throughout the industry, including emerging brands, manufacturers, distributors and retailers.
