Anthony's panel, Infrastructure Now: Understanding New York's Needs in the Modern Era, addressed how the region will tackle demanding infrastructural needs and the available opportunities for development and construction professionals.
As New York City's population continues to rise, with estimates of 9 million residents by 2040, New York's construction and development professionals are keen on creating efficient solutions to help the regions infrastructure withstand the growth. The extensive transportation and infrastructure network that New York's metropolitan region is comprised of is crucial to every day functions for the population. With the population continuing to rise, it is imperative that the transportation and infrastructure network can sustain such immense growth.
Anthony spoke alongside Moynihan Station Development President Michael Evans, MTA Chief Development Officer Janno Lieber, Empire State Development Senior Advisor for Innovative Project Delivery Karen Rae, LaGuardia Gateway Partners Chief Executive Officer Stewart Steeves, Stantec SVP and Business Leader of Transportation Susan Walter and Tarter Krinsky & Drogin Chair of Construction Practice David Pfeffer, who moderated the panel.
