Meet Damien Hughes

Damien Hughes is a Director within Anchin’s Litigation, Forensic, and Valuation Services Group, bringing over 23 years of experience in valuation, financial advisory, and transaction services. Damien has extensive expertise in providing valuation services for asset managers, privately-held and publicly-traded businesses, as well as individual clients. Damien’s experience includes the valuation of portfolio companies and investments, equity securities and corporate debt, intangible and tangible assets, and other financial instruments for financial reporting, strategy and transaction planning, tax-related purposes, and litigation support.

Damien has led high-profile valuation and restructuring engagements for major clients, including private equity firms, venture capital firms, hedge funds, investment banks, and asset management companies. In his former role as an engagement executive at a Big 4 accounting firm, he led the development of valuation analyses for financial services companies and played a key role in managing complex strategy and transaction advisory engagements for large multinational corporations.

Damien has advised clients in a range of industries, including financial services, technology, consumer and retail, automotive, pharmaceuticals, and life sciences, delivering tailored valuation solutions that address the complexities of these sectors.

Damien obtained his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, followed by a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Rutgers University. Additionally, Damien is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of New Jersey.
