Sophia Gulemi is a Senior Manager within the Tax Operations team at Anchin. With a career spanning 13 years, she has delivered tax and advisory services to private clients and gained operational leadership experience in tax department management.

Sophia oversees the day-to-day operations of the Tax Department, focusing on enhancing effectiveness and efficiency. She collaborates closely with key stakeholders in Tax and other leaders within the Firm. Her efforts contribute to driving positive change within the department, and her expertise as a tax practitioner aligns seamlessly with her unique approach and style.

Sophia has also served as the primary point of contact for global executives, entrepreneurs and high net worth private clients, offering comprehensive international tax compliance and advisory services, including individual, trust, and gift tax matters, as well as handling foreign informational disclosure forms.

Before joining Anchin, Sophia spent five years at a boutique U.S. tax practice, followed by a five-year tenure at a Big 4 firm where she served as a Tax Manager. Most recently, she held roles as Tax Director and Tax Operations Leader at a Top 10 CPA firm for over three years.
